I've been working on my guitar and also just picked up playing bass during the half month year end leave. Nothing was done at the shop till this morning. The black delrin rod I bought last month was staring at me each time I walked into the shop. I decided to buy the smaller diameter rod of 18mm for 2 purposes: 1) to cut down on wastage (the previous was 25mm if I remember correctly) and 2) to allow the rod to pass through the lathe spindle bore (which I believe is 20mm).
I didn't take much photo this round as the focus was to get the job done.
A section was cut off with the bandsaw but I left it a little longer since it can go through the spindle bore. After every few partially completed pieces were cut off on the lathe, I can pull out more stock to continue working.
Once I've the 9 pieces done (8mm thickness of 15mm diameter each), I switched in the ER32 collet chuck. With the messiness I've in the shop, I couldn't locate the closing nut for the collet chuck. Thank God I remembered ever buying an ER32 collet chuck for the Sherline lathe from Beall Tool couple of years ago and that it's collet closer nut works with the ER32 collet chuck from CTC Tools.
Fillets were cut on the 2 edges of the wheels for it to ride on the slots of the aluminum profile.

Terence will be away for the next few days. He will test if the wheels need any adjustments when he is back. I'll make another set of 9 wheels for my own build when I've time.
